How to Start a Blog: 5 Simple Steps

If you're wondering how to create new blog this article may help you. This may answer the question you have in mind. I manually created this procedure based on my experience in creating my blog. Before you start a blog, you need to collect information as to what your blog should gonna be look like, the contents and the layout. Your first objective in creating a blog is to attract readers so basically you should write something that is interested and unique. But to be honest I don't exactly know if I wrote something interested or unique. Lol! 

Anyway, before creating a blog you may consider which blog site you want to use, (i.e blogspot.com, wordpress.com and so on). If you are not a very techy person then I would suggest to use blogspot, the same as what I am using for my blog. Blogspot is very easy to use and user friendly though wordpress is amazing but I actually  having hard time navigating wordpress. I tried wordpress before I created my blog but I give up. Lol. If you will start a blog and decided to use blogspot then I can definitley help you if you have question.

Here's the thing that you need to consider in creating a blog:

1.  Sign up with blogspot.com or wordpress.com or any blog site you wanna use.
2.  Set up the layout for your new blog. You may use the given template in the blog site or buy a template somewhere.
3. For my blog I bought the template in etsy.com. If you will use blogspot.com maybe I can give you the HTML code for the template haha "depende's sabot". Lol
4. Add the necessary or usefull widget into your blog. 
5. Make sure to arrange the buttons/links so that your readers can easily navigate your site.
6. You can also link your blog to your social media account (i.e instagram, facebook, LinkedIn and etc). 
7. Set up your custom domain. You can buy a custom domain to any site where you want but I would highly suggest to buy your custom domain in GoDaddy.com for better compatibility.
8. You can also convert you passion in writing into earnings. All you need to do is to sign up with Adsense.

In my blog, I paid a some peso for the template and for the domain. But note, the contract of your domain will matter. I just paid that amount for my domain because its just good for one year.

Can I Use Blogging To Make Money?

Short answer is Yes. As mentioned previously, you can sign up for Adsense so that you can earn something while blogging.

But you can set up a blog for fun or as a hobby, too. That’s completely fine and many people are already doing it. Some people just want to share their opinion/knowledge. Some are doing it for fun just like me.

All that said, no matter what your goals are, you should follow these same steps to get your blog started today.

• It affects your rankings in search engines.
• It defines your brand.

Once you’re inside WordPress or blogger dashboard, you can start customizing your blog. We’ll go through everything you need to do to get your blog ready and your first post published today. You should get familiar with the look and items of the WordPress admin menu.
